- I am the owner and originator of AEL and I am from Los Angeles. My Japanese wife Katy, has an impressive and extensive background in the education field. She has two Master's degrees and a PhD in Developmental Psychology. I am also a singer, songwriter and musician and I perform in Japan. I also do some acting, modeling and voice over (narration) work in Japan.
